History
Ferrari Logo brings out ours emotion associated with cars and racing. People, who love the logo, have a taste for speed, car and racing. The prancing horse was adopted for the first time in the year 1940 for Italian legend Francesco Baracca. Francesco Baracca was an ace fighter pilot during the First World War from Italian Air Force. Such was his excellence that he was shot dead only after he had 34 dual and team victories against his name at the age of 34.
In 1923, Enzo Ferrari met Francesco Baracca mother and she told him to use prancing horse symbol as it will bring good luck to him and in 1940 prancing horse was donned in the Ferrari logo. From there on, Enzo Ferrari started using the prancing horse symbol on his cars. He added yellow background and SF letters to the prancing horse symbol that completed Ferrari logo.

Ferrari logo is highly popular among youngsters of the modern world, especially boys. It can be seen on accessories, bags, belts and caps. I had the logo myself on my school bag. Its one look gave me an inspiration during my school days.
